Pet Sitting in Wilston

Trusted in-home pet care for one of Brisbane's most loved leafy family neighbourhoods

Why Wilston Pet Owners Choose In-Home Sitting

Wilston is the kind of suburb people settle into and never quite leave. The cafes of Wilston Village hum with prams, laptops, and lead-holding locals from early morning, and the leafy streets of character Queenslanders climb gently away from the village in every direction. It is a family neighbourhood through and through, and in Wilston the family almost always includes a dog or a cat.

Pets here are creatures of pleasant habit. There is the morning amble down to the village for a coffee, the well-worn route to the Kedron Brook bikeway with its grassy off-leash stretches, and the occasional adventure over to Grange Forest Park when a bit of bushland is called for. In-home pet sitting keeps all of it exactly as it is while you are away. Your dog walks the same footpaths past the same fences, and your cat keeps the run of the verandah they consider entirely theirs.

We know these streets well, from the quieter back routes that suit a nervous rescue to the busier village corners best saved for confident socialisers. Queenslanders come with their own quirks too (gates that need a firm hip, stairs that older dogs take slowly) and we treat your home with the same care we give your pet.

We specialise in anxious, senior, and special needs pets who do not do well in a strange house.

"The 1:1 care is perfect for our two dogs, especially as they get older and prefer all the attention. Bert normally sleeps in his crate and Peppa on our bed, but Bert was so comfy with Ash he slept on the bed and Peppa took the crate! That is 100% a sign they were comfortable, relaxed and well cared for."

Common Questions

Our Queenslander has steep front stairs. Will that suit our older dog?

It can, with some planning. Older dogs get a slower run at the steps, and we watch for the gates that need a firm hip to latch so nobody gets loose. If your dog sleeps upstairs, that does not have to change.

Will you take our dog down to Wilston Village?

If they enjoy it. Some Wilston dogs love the morning coffee crowd, and some find footpath traffic hard work. The second kind gets the quiet back streets and the grass along the Kedron Brook bikeway.

Can you look after two dogs at once?

Yes, and plenty of our Wilston bookings are pairs. They keep their own beds, their own bowls, and their own routines, and we watch how they settle at night.
