Pet Sitting in Ascot

Trusted in-home pet care for Ascot's character homes and quiet streets

Why Ascot Pet Owners Choose In-Home Sitting

Labrador stretched out on the rug of a light-filled living room in a character home

Ascot is known for its older Queenslanders, large gardens and quiet, leafy streets. Pets who are used to that space and routine can find boarding difficult, particularly if they are anxious, older or need regular medication.

With in-home sitting, your pet stays where they are comfortable. They can keep their usual walk, sleep in their own bed and spend the afternoon in their favourite spot on the verandah.

Ascot also has a mix of large gardens, stairs and older gates, which all need a little attention when caring for pets. We follow your instructions for access, check gates carefully and help senior dogs on steps if they need it.

On busy race days at Eagle Farm or Doomben, we can change the timing or route of your dog's walk to avoid traffic and crowds.

We care for anxious, senior and special-needs pets who are happiest in familiar surroundings.

Common Questions

Do you stay overnight in our Ascot home?

Yes. With in-home sitting, your sitter stays overnight for the length of the booking, so your pet is not left alone overnight.

We can also bring in mail, put bins out and follow any other simple household instructions agreed before the stay.

Our older dog needs medication twice a day. Can you manage that?

Usually, yes. Depending on the sitter's experience and your pet's needs, we can give oral medication, eye drops, insulin and other established routine care.

We follow your written instructions and give medication at the agreed times. You will need to provide the medication in its original packaging, along with your vet's details and enough medication for the full booking.

Do race days affect your walks?

Sometimes. On busy days at Eagle Farm or Doomben, we may avoid crowded streets and heavy traffic or walk earlier in the morning.

We will follow the routes agreed with you and adjust the timing if needed to keep your dog comfortable.
