Why New Farm Pet Owners Choose In-Home Sitting

New Farm is a great place to have a dog. There is New Farm Park, the riverwalk and plenty of quieter streets for dogs who prefer to avoid crowds.

When you travel, in-home sitting lets your pet stay where they are comfortable. Your dog can keep their usual walking route and your cat can stay in their favourite sunny spot. Their home, food, bed and routine all remain familiar.

We care for pets in New Farm apartments and houses, including anxious, senior and special-needs pets. We take note of the details that shape their day, from what time your dog needs to go downstairs to where your cat likes to sleep.

Common Questions

Do you care for apartment dogs as well as dogs in houses?

Yes. We care for pets in apartments and houses throughout New Farm. Apartment routines can be quite specific, so we follow your instructions for lift access, toilet breaks, walks and shared areas.

Will our dog still go to New Farm Park?

Yes, if that is where they usually walk. We will stick to the times and routes they know.

If your dog is anxious around crowds or other dogs, we can walk earlier or use quieter streets instead. We will agree on suitable routes with you before the booking.

Our dog has separation anxiety. Will they cope?

Staying at home often helps because the surroundings and routine remain familiar. However, every dog responds differently, so we will ask about their behaviour, triggers and how long they can currently be left.

If your dog cannot be left alone, our Constant Care tier may be the best fit. Your sitter stays with them for most of the booking rather than coming and going throughout the day.
