Our woolstore apartment has a service lift and strict rules. Does that matter?
Not to us, as long as we know. The converted woolstores each have their quirks: which lift takes a dog, where the bins go, how visitor parking is booked. None of that is a problem once it is written down.
Can our cat stay home rather than go to a cattery?
In most cases it is better for the cat. Their territory is the apartment, and a cattery takes that away. We come to them, keep the feeding and litter routine exactly as it is, and sit with them.
What about the riverwalk in the heat?
We shift the walk rather than skip it. The Commercial Road end and the riverwalk are good early and late. Through the middle of the day the concrete is too hot for paws, so that is indoor time and a cool floor.
