Pet Sitting in Bulimba

In-home pet care in Brisbane's beloved village suburb

Why Bulimba Pet Owners Choose In-Home Sitting

Bulimba has a village feel that's rare in a city suburb. Oxford Street's cafes, the weekend markets, and the riverside walks all contribute to a neighbourhood where pets are genuinely part of daily life. It's common to see dogs tied up outside the coffee shop while their owners grab a flat white. That's the kind of suburb Bulimba is.

Most Bulimba homes are character Queenslanders with generous yards and covered verandahs. Pets here have space, routine, and a neighbourhood they know. Removing them from that environment, even for a few days, can be disruptive, especially for dogs who are used to their patch of garden or cats who patrol a specific territory.

With in-home pet sitting, everything stays the same. Your dog still gets their riverside walk past the ferry terminal. Your cat still watches the birds from the back deck. We simply step into your routine and keep things running smoothly.

We specialise in anxious, senior, and special needs pets, including territorial cats and dogs who will not settle elsewhere.

Common Questions

Can our dog stay out in the yard while you are out?

Only if that is what you would do. Most Bulimba homes have a decent yard and a covered verandah, and plenty of dogs are happiest pottering out there. We follow your rules on gates, doors, and how long they are left outside, and we walk the fence line on day one.

We have a cat who never leaves the house. Is in-home sitting worth it?

Yes, especially for a territorial cat. Cats struggle in catteries mostly because they lose their territory. Staying home means their patch of deck, their feeding spot, and their litter tray all stay where they are.

Do you walk along the river?

Yes. The riverside path past the ferry terminal is on most of our Bulimba routes. Oxford Street is busier, so we only take dogs down there if they like foot traffic.
