Pet Sitting in Windsor
Trusted in-home pet care for one of Brisbane's most character-filled hillside suburbs
Why Windsor Pet Owners Choose In-Home Sitting
Windsor wears its history on its streets. Classic timber Queenslanders line the hilly rises around Eildon Hill, where the lookout rewards a good climb with views right across the city, and yet the inner city itself is only minutes down the road. It is that rare mix of old Brisbane charm and convenience, and the dogs of Windsor are among its most contented residents.
Ask any of them and they will tell you the suburb was built for routine: the loop down to Downey Park, a sniff along the Kedron Brook corridor, then the slow haul back up the hill for breakfast on the deck. When you go away, in-home pet sitting means none of that has to stop. Your dog keeps their park, their footpaths, and their afternoon patch of sun. Your cat keeps the whole house, which is, of course, how they prefer it.
We know Windsor's terrain and its temperament, from the flat, easy circuits of Downey Park that suit an ageing dog to the steeper streets best walked in the cool of the morning. Timber Queenslanders have their own rhythms too, and we look after your home (mail, plants, security) as attentively as we look after your pet.
We specialise in anxious, senior, and special needs pets who settle best in the home they know.

Common Questions
Windsor is hilly. How do you plan walks?
By the dog and by the hour. Downey Park is flat and easy, which suits an ageing dog or one that overheats. The steeper streets around Eildon Hill are for cooler mornings and dogs who want the climb.
Our Queenslander is old and a bit quirky. Do we need to explain everything?
Please do. Which window does not lock, which gate swings open, which floorboard sets the dog off: all of it helps. We look after the house as well as the pet, so the bins, the post, and locking up at night are part of the booking.
How far ahead should we book a Windsor sitter?
For peak season (Easter, Christmas, New Year and the main holiday breaks) book 6 to 8 weeks ahead. Other times, 2 to 3 weeks is usually enough.
