Pet Sitting in Bardon
Trusted in-home pet care in the quiet, leafy foothills of Mt Coot-tha
Why Bardon Pet Owners Choose In-Home Sitting
Tucked into the Mt Coot-tha foothills, Bardon feels a world away from the inner city it borders. The streets are quiet, elevated, and wrapped in green, and the whole suburb carries that settled family neighbourhood feel where dogs know the postie by name and cats claim entire verandahs as their own. For pets, it is a lovely place to live, which is why leaving it for a boarding kennel can be such a shock.
In-home sitting keeps everything your pet loves exactly where it is. The morning circuit through Bowman Park and along Ithaca Creek still happens on time. The afternoon patrol of the backyard goes ahead as usual. Dinner lands in the same bowl, in the same corner, at the same hour. We step into your routine rather than asking your pet to learn a new one, which matters most for puppies and young dogs.
The neighbourhood gives us plenty to work with. Energetic dogs can stretch out at Bowman Park or take on the walking trails threading up into the Mt Coot-tha foothills, while gentler souls can potter along Ithaca Creek at their own pace. And because Bardon's hilly streets can be demanding, we match every walk to your pet's age, fitness, and confidence.
We specialise in anxious, senior, and special needs pets, which mostly means keeping the routine exactly as you left it.

Common Questions
Bardon's streets are steep. How do you manage walks for an older dog?
We match the walk to the dog. A young one can take the climbs and the trails running up into the Mt Coot-tha foothills. An arthritic one gets the flatter loop through Bowman Park and along Ithaca Creek, in the cool of the morning.
Is parking a problem at our place?
Rarely, but raise it early. Some Bardon streets are narrow, with a steep driveway or no off-street space at all. Tell us at the meet and greet where a car should sit for the length of the booking, and where it should not.
How far ahead should we book?
For peak season (Easter, Christmas, New Year and the main holiday breaks) book 6 to 8 weeks ahead. Other times, 2 to 3 weeks is usually enough. Short notice does sometimes work, so ask anyway.
