Pet Sitting in Kangaroo Point

Trusted in-home pet care beneath the Story Bridge, in Brisbane's most iconic riverside peninsula

Why Kangaroo Point Pet Owners Choose In-Home Sitting

Sitter crouching with a miniature dachshund on the terrace of a riverside apartment building

Few Brisbane suburbs offer a dog a better daily outlook than Kangaroo Point. The Cliffs parkland gives you river views on every walk, Captain Burke Park sits right under the Story Bridge with grass to spare, and the Riverwalk stretches in both directions for as long as your legs (or paws) will carry you. It is a small peninsula with a lot of good walking, and the local pets know it.

Most of those pets live in apartments, and that is why routine matters here. High-rise life runs on rhythm: the same lift at the same time, the morning loop past Captain Burke Park, dinner at six. For an anxious dog, even the lobby and the lift can be a lot to manage on a good day. Add a kennel stay on top and the stress compounds quickly.

In-home pet sitting avoids all of it. Your pet stays in their own apartment with their own bed, their own balcony view, and their own familiar route down to the Riverwalk. We handle the lifts, the fobs, and the building etiquette, and we specialise in anxious, senior, and special needs pets who cope best when nothing about home changes except the person holding the lead.

We are comfortable with the practicalities of apartment living, from body corporate rules to secure parking.

Common Questions

How do you handle building access?

Fobs, lift cards, visitor parking, and the rules about which lift a dog may use all get settled before the booking starts. Leave the access notes with the keys and we will work to them.

Our dog gets anxious in the lift and the lobby. What do you do?

We keep those trips short and predictable. Same lift, same route out, same time of day, and no standing about downstairs. For a frightened dog we use the quieter hours and head straight out to Captain Burke Park.

Does the body corporate need to know a sitter is staying?

Some buildings ask you to register anyone staying for a period; most do not. Check your by-laws and tell us what is required.
